Dr Mandy Peyton provides clinical supervision to therapists and psychologists supporting their therapeutic practice and providing a reflective space to continue developing their therapeutic capacities and skills.
She is an AHPRA registered supervisor and a Supervisor in Training with ICEEFT. As such supervision sessions with Mandy count towards the required hours for ICEEFT certification to become an EFT couples’ therapist.
Mandy’s supervision approach aligns with the ACES model -
Alliance – emphasis is placed on developing & maintaining a secure supervisory alliance
Conceptual development & integration – exploration of how the supervisee conceptualises their client/couple with grounding in the theoretical model
Experiential focus – supports the supervisee in developing the skills of staying close to client’s present experiential edge, tracking, supporting & deepening their emotions, and facilitating bonding events. Putting theory into practice.
Self-of-the-therapist – assisting the supervisee to utilise awareness of their own internal experience to both track their clients’ process and explore their own reactions & responses to their clients. In this sense, the supervisory experience mirrors the therapeutic process.
Enquiries for engagement in supervision are welcome.
